Santa's moving into the MainPlace mall, found out with whom
On Friday, Nov. 17, Santa Ana's MainPlace shopping center will be visited by Santa, but not just for one day. He'll be there for a few weeks.
Another Santa residence will be located in the three-story MainPlace super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California. On November 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., they will mark his arrival with a special celebration. So grab your kids and come to the theatrical event. It will be free and open to the public, and no pre-registration is required.
What's in store for families at the party?
- a festive atmosphere with carolers who will perform favorite songs of adults and children
- free ginger cookies
- three children's workshops where children will be able to decorate a wooden baking board, create crafts and elf-themed coloring books.
Children who attend the event will receive a free baker's hat and apron. Cookies, craft materials and gifts will be provided within the limits of available supplies.
Santa will arrive at the MainPlace shopping center at 11 a.m. He will be found in his seat in the specially designed Elf on the Shelf: Santa's Magical Photo Adventure center located in Macy's Court. He will listen to children's wish lists and take professional keepsake photos with children and their families throughout the day.
Immediately following this event, on November 27, December 4 and December 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Santa can meet your furry friends as well. Each pet will receive a free holiday toy, bandana and treat. Only pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
On December 3 from 10:00-11:00 a.m., there will be a sensory friendly event for children with disabilities and their families. Santa will take photos with everyone and chat with those in attendance in a calming environment before the MainPlace Shopping Center opens to the public. You can also pre-book a professional photo shoot online.
MainPlace Mall is located at 2800 N. Main Street, Santa Ana, CA 92705. Learn more on this page.
