The holidays are approaching and the active Ukrainian community in Orange County, California is preparing atmospheric Christmas events.

This is not the first time Ukrainians abroad have united to present Ukrainian traditions, culture and symbols to the world. The Ukrainian community in Orange County has never stood aside from this process. Always active, creative and motivated, it constantly organizes thematic, artistic events and meetings. This time, Orange County is looking forward to the Christmas event. And the doors are open to everyone who is interested. Join us!

Christmas parade on December 9th in Laguna Niguel
Each year, various Orange County organizations and communities join in. This year, too, everyone is invited. You can wear Ukrainian vyshyvanki, take flags and participate in a procession with a creche. Details can be found on the event's social media page.

Christmas Fair and Dinner on Dec. 16 at Dana Point
The fair will last from 15:00 to 17:00, it is free and open to everyone. Here you will be able to buy various Ukrainian products: from sweets to souvenirs. And the evening program will start at 16:30. All guests will be able to enjoy traditional 12 Christmas dishes, listen to the performances of the creche and modern Ukrainian performers. In addition, on December 17, the Ukrainian Cultural Center will host a Christmas market and a performance of Home Alone or Waiting for St. Nicholas.
The native school invites you to master classes, a New Year photo zone, raffles, delicious Ukrainian cuisine, and a hot chocolate station. And there will also be gifts, various Ukrainian products, souvenirs and mulled wine. Starts at 12.00 and 14.00 respectively. The organizers also note that if you would like to join these events as craftsmen, volunteers or participants in the creche, you will always be welcome. After all, the Ukrainian community in Orange County is friendly and hospitable.
