Santa Ana will be lighting the Christmas tree, don't miss out on Santa's hug!
It won't be long before a brightly colored Christmas tree will be towering in the center of Orange County's main city, Santa Ana.
We can consider that the holiday season 2023-2024 has begun. After all, the whole world is actively preparing for New Year and Christmas. Many cities in California are already installing and decorating the main attribute of the holiday. And Orange County is not lagging behind - soon Santa Ana will also light up its Christmas tree.
On November 18, the Plaza Navideña event will take place here at Calle Cuatro with the official lighting of the Christmas lights. This will kick off the city's celebration program.
The public will be able to see a decorated 30-foot natural Christmas tree. There will, of course, be an entertainment program. Everyone will be able to take pictures with Santa and work on children's crafts together.
Plaza Navideña, city officials say, is a day for the community to come together in the heart of downtown Santa Ana to support local businesses and celebrate the start of the holidays. This free event is open to all and will begin with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30pm.
The event will also kick off the first ticket sales for ice skating at Santa Ana Winter Village. These activities will be available at the Civic Center Plaza from December 2 to 31.
