Bestselling authors Mitch Albom and Douglas Preston are coming to OC

OC Public Libraries invites the community to Slice of Literary Orange with bestselling authors like Mitch Albom and Douglas Preston.

Orange County Public Libraries is proud to present the Slice of Literary Orange series of literary events. It features top speakers throughout the year. This time two guests will be coming to OC at once - Mitch Albom and Douglas Preston.

Mitch Albom is a world-renowned author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television host and musician. His books have sold over forty million copies worldwide. They have been published in forty-nine countries in forty-eight languages. They have also been the subject of Emmy Award-winning television movies. His acclaimed novels include Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, For One More Day, Have a Little Faith: A True Story, The Time Keeper, and many others.

Douglas Preston is an American author and journalist. He taught literature at Princeton University. He worked as an editor at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He is best known for his thrillers produced in collaboration with Lincoln Child. Most notably, the Pendergast series. In addition, he is also the author of several stand-alone novels, notable among which are a novel called Jenny, on which Disney made a movie, and The Lost City of the Monkey God.
