Four volunteer positions are offered in Irvine

The City of Irvine has announced four volunteer positions. People are invited to join the Child Care Committee here.

The specified Committee in Irvine is accepting applications for two volunteer positions. Two people are also needed to provide child care services in centers or at home. This is reported on the the city's website . The volunteers will take on the task of advising the Community Services Commission. In this way, they will gather information about the needs of families and children in Irvine and issues related to child care.

Participants should be prepared to work on these areas for two years. Namely from January 2024 to December 2025. They will also attend Committee meetings. Candidates for these positions must work in a child care program licensed by the State of California Community Care Licensing Division.

By the way, the Committee now consists of five people appointed by the City Council. In addition, two staff members from child care services, two parents/guardians, two community representatives. And one representative from each of the educational organizations - Irvine Unified School District, University of California Irvine and Irvine Valley College.
