Metrolink is introducing a budget-friendly alternative for Thanksgiving and Black Friday travelers - a $10 holiday pass.

Southern California passenger rail company Metrolink is launching a special $10 holiday pass this week. It has the advantage of allowing unlimited rides on the same day on all Metrolink and Arrow lines.

This move by the company is aimed at easing transportation and avoiding traffic jams. In addition, the holiday pass will provide citizens with an affordable and convenient option for traveling around Southern California. After all, this is one of the busiest weeks of the year. The pass also allows use of Metrolink Arrow trains connecting San Bernardino and Redlands.

The company also notes that the Holiday Pass will not be available to Kids Ride Free on Weekends members. And the Rail 2 Rail program, which allows Metrolink monthly pass holders to use their Metrolink passes on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains within Ventura County and Orange County, will be temporarily suspended from Wednesday, November 22 to Monday, November 27. Normal Rail 2 Rail service will resume on Tuesday, November 28.

As for the holiday schedule, Metrolink and Arrow trains will run as normal.

• All Thanksgiving and Black Friday travel is valid for this $10 promotional price on Ventura County Line, Antelope Valley Line, San Bernardino Line, Orange County Line, 91/Perris Valley Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line.
• Trains will not run on the Riverside Line only.

By the way, the holiday pass can be purchased in the Metrolink mobile app and at stations through vending machines.
