The sensational play "Lysistrata" will be shown again in Dana Point
On September 24, Olga Berger's Theatrical Drawing Room will once again present the already beloved play "Lysistrata" at Dana Point.
By numerous requests of theater lovers who could not attend the previous productions, the artists of Olga Berger's Theatrical Drawing Room decided to organize another performance in a cozy chamber setting.
The comedy "Lysistrata" is for adult Russian-speaking audience 18+. It is a performance based on the famous play by Leonid Filatov. Who in turn wrote it based on the ancient Greek comedy "Lysistrata" by Aristophanes from 411 BC. Nevertheless, the story will be close to everyone. Because it is about choice.
The actors of the theater say that the play made them immerse themselves in the world of experiences familiar to people since ancient times. The experiences are connected with wars, suffering and deprivation: "Aristophanes described the most marvelous happy ending possible in such troubled times. And he made women in this historical context realize that love, loyalty and solidarity can work miracles.
