Ukrainian documentary "A Rising Fury" will be shown in California
There is interesting news for you: the documentary "A Rising Fury" by Ukrainian director Lesya Kalynska will be shown in California.
Brighter Ukraine and Leleka Foundation invite everyone to watch the Ukrainian documentary "A Rising Fury" on October 1. It has already premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2022. The film also won 3 prizes at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival. And now it can be seen in California.
The documentary A Rising Fury is a chance to better understand the modern war in Ukraine, which has unfolded in the center of Europe and forced more than 3 million Ukrainians to flee their homeland in search of safety. It is an intimate and detailed look at what it takes to stand up for democratic values. The movie shows how ordinary people are defending the country against a brutal external enemy.
There will be English subtitles.
After the screening you will be treated to a Q&A panel with the filmmakers behind the making of the movie. It is directed by Lesya Kalynska (USA, Ukraine). Co-producers are TJ Collins (USA), Jonathan Borge Lie (Norway), co-director Ruslan Batytskyi (Ukraine).
