Ukrainian movie "Dovbush", which since the end of August collected at the box office more than 55 million UAH, will be shown on big screens in the United States.

Oles Sanin's adventure-historical film is ready to dazzle American audiences with its cinematic journey. The first exclusive limited screening of the tape in the States will take place in San Diego - October 12 at 19.00 local time at the Landmark Hillcrest Cinema.

After the Ukrainian film "Dovbush" will be shown in New York, USA - on October 22. And also in the Canadian cities of Alberta, Toronto and Ottawa - October 17, October 22 and November 5, respectively. So hurry up to buy tickets! Admission is $21 - $29.

According to director Oles Sanin, the work on this tape lasted 10 years, and the movie has already surprised the world with its scale and epicness.

In Ukraine, it was released on August 24, Independence Day. And so far it has collected more than 55 million hryvnias (about $1.5 million) with a budget of 120 million hryvnias. Therefore, "Dovbush" became the most expensive movie in the history of independent Ukraine. In total, a team of 3 thousand people worked on the shooting. More than a thousand costumes were created and even a fortress was built near Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.

If we talk about the plot, the action of the movie takes place in the Carpathians in the early 18th century. The Hutsuls flee to the mountains as a result of the brutal rule of the Polish nobility. Two brothers, Oleksa and Ivan Dovbusha, become oprishki, and want to avenge the murder of their parents. But despite their shared past, they become enemies.

At the same time, the movie reveals the story of struggle and striving for justice. It tells about the strength and love of Oleksa Dovbush, about betrayal and injustice. And about how he lived and cheated death.

The film has already won the hearts of Ukrainian viewers and film critics. And now it is the turn of the American ones.
